The final of the Kelly Cup proved to be a nail biting, nerve wracking experience for everyone who attended! Skill, teamwork and dedication were all on display as captains Aoibhe and Graham and Alex encouraged and inspired their teams to the final whistle. There were only 2 points separating the teams at half time and the second half was just as tight. The game began to turn when captain Aoibhe took matters into her own hands, barging through the defence with the sliotar to score a crucial goal for her team. This was added to by a great point from Niall Rushe. At the final whistle, it was Aoibhe and her team that came out victorious! Congratulations to them! A special mention must also go to Graham and Alex's team who came agonisingly close. They showed great skill, determination and team spirit! Well done!
