It has been a great week at Kilcornan National School celebrating Biodiversity Week! Our students were very busy learning all about the importance of nature. The juniors and seniors crafted beautiful bird feeders. The 1st and 2nd classes got to work planting pea seeds and 3rd to 6th classes created vibrant window boxes and planted raspberry and blueberry plants. It was a week filled with fun, learning and appreciation for the amazing biodiversity around us! See our gallery for more photos!
