Kilcornan National School has been immersed in the celebration of STEM this week, with lots of experiments to mark Engineers Week. We are currently working towards a 'Curious Minds' award, sparking fun and curiosity in children both inside and outside the classroom. They have explored Science in a practical, hands-on, enjoyable and interactive way with tasks at each class level this week such as designing playgrounds, making marble runs and building boats.
