It was wonderful to celebrate World Book Day again in Kilcornan! Pupils spent weeks brainstorming and planning their character costumes and the imagination and creativity displayed on the day was incredible! A big thank you to everyone who helped prepare the children for this day. Pupils were so proud coming to school with their favourite books to chat about their characters. We love reading in Kilcornan and it was very special that World Book Day could coincide with our Scholastic Book Fair. This has been another event we have missed very much over the past few years. Pupils visited the Book Fair over the course of a week and bought lots of books. The school will receive books for our class libraries due to the support shown throughout this week.
