Kilcornan National School's love of reading was celebrated on World Book Day 2020. The week began with the visit of the Scholastic Book Fair. A big thank you to Mrs. Quinn for organising this every year and for taking charge of the book fair for the week. Pupils visited the book fair every day and we would like to thank parents for supporting it so generously. For all money raised, the school gets a percentage back in books for our library and classrooms! The week culminated with pupils dressing up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day. As usual, the standard was extremely high and staff were blown away by the variety and creativity of costumes on display. The staff even got involved in the dress up! A big well done to all pupils and parents who helped create the amazing costumes on display! We look forward to next year. See our gallery for more photos of the day!
