What a super term we have had in Rang a Sé! We had a great term learning lots of new things.
In Literacy, we finished our class novel Wonder and watched the movie together. We also explored Persuasive writing and typed our pieces using the school laptops. We have loved using them and are learning typing skills and we even did some Ratio Maths activities on them. We Have also loved doing class Kahoot quizzes on them.
We had great fun during science week. We worked hard on experiments and loved showing the rest of the class our experiments. As part of Green schools we planted lots of herbs and have been growing our herbs both indoors and outdoors. We are also growing mushrooms. We have picked our first batch and took them home to cook with. We are working hard to mind what we planted and take turns watering them each week. We Explored the Titanic in History and took a virtual tour of the ship.
We have enjoyed doing lots of Christmas Art activities. We created a lovely collaborative collage for the hallway. We had so much fun making chocolate sleighs, we were very creative and artistic!
We had a fun visit to Santa and thank you to our Parents Council for the fun goody bags they gifted us.
We did Secret Santa again in Sixth Class. We had great fun exchanging gifts and everyone got a thoughtful present.
We are looking forward to Christmas and a well-deserved break!
