What a last term and year we have had in 6th class. It has been so busy and 6th Class have been fantastic throughout this term and year. They have to be commended on their maturity and ability to adapt to the safety measures that were in place in school.
In STEM we had lots of fun building bridge structures and creating playgrounds within our pods. We used materials to create the strongest bridges and the most creative playground. This was so much fun!
Art was also a lot of fun this term! Ms Mullane challenged us to draw various items but with a twist! Our page was on our head! There was a lot of laughing and fun during this lesson! We also had so much fun making clay pieces and they turned out so well when painted. We loved completing our yard murals using chalk. It was hard work but the result was worth it! They looked so cool and all the other classes loved them.
We loved playing Rounders as part of our PE lessons.
We were so busy coming up to Sports Day, Ms Mullane knew that we were up to a challenge and we made treat bags for the rest of the school. We were so happy that we gave everyone a treat for Sports day.
We were in awe of Magic Peter, the Magician. He performed very cool tricks and we all got a turn to participate. The ice cream van was a lovely end to our last full week of primary school.
Catherine spoiled us with a piñata. This was so much fun! Thank you Catherine! On Graduation day we had a yummy pizza party and recalled our memories of our years in Kilcornan National school.
It has been a strange but brilliant year this year and everyone has worked so well. Well done!
Thank you Catherine for your fantastic help in our classroom every day!
We are all looking forward to our summer holidays and a well earned break. Have a lovely safe and happy summer and best of luck in Secondary school!
